Dubai Chambers has signed an agreement with DHL Express to help local businesses expand internationally through preferential shipping rates, logistics solutions and customs support. The partnership aims to make cross-border trade easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and help them reach new markets.

Under the agreement, members of Dubai Chamber of Commerce will receive customised shipping packages, international express delivery services and promotional onboarding incentives. They will also have access to shipment tracking, customs clearance support and cross-border trade advisory services.

The partnership includes DHL’s GoTrade programme, which will provide training and capability-building activities for SMEs. The initiative aims to help businesses understand international trade requirements, improve their export operations and manage cross-border shipments more efficiently.

Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said: “We are committed to strengthening the capabilities of the local private sector to benefit from growth opportunities in global markets.”

The agreement supports Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda, which aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033. Access to logistics services and trade expertise can help local businesses improve export operations and strengthen their international competitiveness.
