DHL Global Forwarding has expanded its cross-border road freight network across the Gulf and beyond, improving connectivity between ports, airports and businesses. The move will help companies move goods faster and more reliably, reduce delays at borders, and keep supply chains running smoothly even during disruptions.
The company now operates direct road freight services across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, with extended links to Iraq, Egypt and Lebanon. With over 60 road freight experts and access to more than 5,000 trucks, DHL is strengthening its ability to handle both domestic and cross-border shipments at scale.
A key benefit for the industry is DHL’s in-house customs expertise in Saudi Arabia and Oman, along with strong agent networks at borders. This helps speed up clearance processes and makes complex shipments easier to manage.
The network also connects road freight with air and ocean services, ensuring smoother multimodal transport. From standard cargo to temperature-controlled, out-of-gauge and high-value shipments with GPS tracking, the service gives businesses more flexible and dependable logistics options, supporting trade growth across the region.
