DIP Angola is set to strengthen trade and logistics links between Saudi Arabia and Africa following its participation in the Angola–Saudi Arabia Business Mission in Riyadh, coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Angola–Saudi Arabia (CCIAAS). The mission brought together high-level public and private sector delegations, allowing DIP Angola to engage with the Kingdom’s government bodies, investment funds, and industrial stakeholders. Omar Al Mesmar, Board Director of Dubai Investments International Angola LDA, highlighting the zone’s importance, said, “DIP Angola stands as a pivotal gateway for KSA investors seeking to capitalise on Africa’s growing markets. The platform supports sectors including agribusiness, pharma, petrochemicals, and logistics, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to diversify economic partnerships across the continent.” Spanning 2,000 hectares in Dande Province, 50 km from Luanda, DIP Angola draws inspiration from DIP in the UAE. The economic zone offers world-class industrial and logistics infra, commercial real estate, and social amenities, providing global investors with access to Angola and the broader Southern African Development Community markets. Already attracting tenants, DIP Angola is emerging as a hub to facilitate bilateral trade, re-export operations, and regional logistics connectivity.
