Qatar-based GWC Group has activated integrated air, land and sea corridors to strengthen cargo movement across the Gulf, ensuring smooth and continuous supply chain operations. To maintain momentum, the company introduced an air-land route via Riyadh, deployed a TIR-based air-to-land solution through Hamad International Airport, and opened a dedicated sea corridor to support regional distribution.

This multimodal setup allows cargo to move seamlessly between different transport modes, improving speed and efficiency. On the other hand, air shipments are quickly transferred to trucking networks, while sea freight is backed by warehousing hubs in Oman and Jeddah for onward delivery across Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

This approach is helping streamline logistics operations by reducing transit times and improving flexibility in cargo handling. It also supports better coordination across borders, making supply chains more reliable.

For the logistics sector, this highlights the growing importance of multimodal transport in enhancing connectivity and trade flows. By combining air, land and sea networks, companies can optimise routes, improve delivery timelines and build stronger, future-ready supply chains across the GCC.
