Jumia, Africa’s leading e-commerce platform, has selected the ALP in Tema, Ghana, as its new nationwide fulfillment center, signing a 10-year lease for a 6,000-square-meter facility. The center, strategically located near Tema Port, will streamline Jumia’s order processing, storage, and shipping operations across Ghana, supporting a broad range of products from electronics to consumer goods. Jumia’s CEO, Temidayo Ojo, noted that the ALP’s advanced infrastructure and prime location will boost delivery efficiency and enhance customer service. Temidayo Ojo, CEO of Jumia Ghana, said, “We chose the Agility Logistics Park in Tema because its strategic location will help ensure rapid, efficient delivery of products throughout Ghana. Increased quality storage capacity at the new facility will enable us to improve efficiency in managing our growing product range, allowing us to better meet the expectations of Ghanaian customers.”
