KEZAD Group has announced a new AED112 million ($30.5 million) SME facility in Abu Dhabi aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses expand their operations. The facility, located in KEZAD A, is expected to be handed over before the end of 2026 and will provide industrial units, office space and logistics access under one roof.
The project is designed to address a common challenge for SMEs: moving from small-scale operations to larger production and distribution. By offering ready-to-use industrial units and business support services in a single location, the hub is expected to reduce setup costs and simplify day-to-day operations for growing companies.
The 25,260-square-metre development will include 175 micro industrial units starting from 100 square metres, along with office suites and a dedicated business centre. Businesses operating from the hub will also benefit from access to road, port and rail connectivity through nearby Khalifa Port and Etihad Rail.
Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities & Free Zones, AD Ports Group, said, “That the hub will serve as a launchpad for SMEs, nurturing and developing the industry with vital resources and support required to grow in a competitive market. Joining the hub will also enable SME investors to leverage the advantages and business support provided by KEZAD’s integrated business ecosystems.”
SMEs make up the majority of businesses in both Abu Dhabi and the UAE and play a significant role in employment and non-oil economic activity. The new hub is intended to support this segment by providing space and infrastructure for companies looking to increase production capacity and reach new markets.
