The King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC), a subsidiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), unveiled the brand identity for King Salman International Airport, signalling progress in one of the world’s largest aviation and logistics projects, Marco Mejia, Acting CEO, KSIADC. The development reflects KSA’s ambition to set new benchmarks in efficiency and innovation. Spanning 57 square km, the airport is designed to handle two million tonnes of cargo annually by 2030. Positioned as a central hub for trade, logistics, and investment, it will play a vital role in diversifying Saudi Arabia’s non-oil economy and advancing Vision 2030 goals. Equipped with six runways, and expansive logistics zones, King Salman International Airport will enhance regional connectivity and serve as a key enabler for global commerce. The project’s advanced infrastructure aims to streamline cargo movement, strengthen supply chains, and attract global logistics operators. Expected to contribute SR27 billion annually to the Kingdom’s non-oil GDP, the airport underscores Riyadh’s transformation into a leading global hub for trade and logistics.
