KSA launches pilot for vehicle delivery to drive smart logistics

Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority (TGA) has launched a pilot programme for autonomous delivery vehicles, marking a milestone in the Kingdom’s drive toward smarter and sustainable logistics, Dr Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, Vice Minister, Transport and Logistic Services and Acting President, TGA. The initiative, rolled out at ROSHN Business Front, is part of a partnership between Jahez and ROSHN Group. It aims to demonstrate the potential of AI-powered, driverless delivery services in residential and commercial zones. The pilot reinforces the Kingdom’s commitment to adopting advanced transport technologies. The initiative is expected to improve logistics efficiency and safety, he added.
