Queen Alia International Airport in Amman handled 6,964 tonnes of cargo in September 2026, according to Airport International Group (AIG), the airport’s operator.

The airport supports cargo links for Jordanian businesses, connecting shipments with international markets and helping move goods through regional and global supply chains.

Nicolas Deviller, chief executive of AIG, said: “Maintaining strong connectivity and operational performance in this environment requires continued attention to the needs of our passengers and airline partners.”

Cargo throughput at Queen Alia International Airport provides an indication of freight activity through Jordan, serving businesses that rely on air transport for time-sensitive and international shipments.

The monthly figures were released on 17 October as AIG reported the airport’s operational performance for September.
