Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) is stepping up efforts to attract logistics, manufacturing and industrial companies from Europe, highlighting Ras Al Khaimah’s role as a regional base for trade and supply chain operations. The move aims to increase European investment and support companies looking to serve Gulf and wider international markets from the UAE.

Germany remains one of the largest investor markets within RAKEZ, with more than 1,100 German companies operating across sectors including manufacturing, industrial equipment, construction solutions and electronics. RAKEZ said it sees continued interest from European businesses seeking access to regional markets and trade routes.

The economic zone also highlighted opportunities in logistics, advanced manufacturing, industrial technologies and supply chain operations as companies look to expand their presence in the Middle East. The focus comes as businesses seek locations that can support distribution, production and cross-border trade.

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO, RAKEZ said that European companies are increasingly using Ras Al Khaimah as a base for regional operations, allowing them to supply customers across the Gulf and nearby markets. Existing investors, including German manufacturer Kludi and Finland-based Peikko Group, have expanded their activities from the emirate to serve regional demand.
