Shipa Delivery has announced the launch of a new e-commerce gateway in Jeddah, set to reduce delivery times across western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This new gateway will complement its existing hubs in Riyadh and Dammam, cutting 12 to 24 hours off shipment times for inbound and outbound deliveries. The move, revealed at the Global Logistics Forum in Riyadh, will provide global merchants’ faster access to KSA’s booming e-commerce market, particularly the Red Sea corridor. By opening in January, the firm aims to boost delivery capacity by 15 per cent, enhancing service during peak periods. “The Jeddah gateway will make our e-commerce clients competitive by shortening delivery times. It allows us to expand our capacity in the Kingdom, relieving constraints that arise during peak periods,” Borhene Ben Mena, CEO, Shipa Delivery, said.
