UAE and France are looking to expand cooperation in logistics, aviation, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurship, with both sides focusing on improving trade flows, air connectivity and business activity between the two countries. The exchange also highlighted stronger movement of goods and growing company presence in both markets.

Air links between the two countries currently stand at 53 flights per week, supporting passenger and cargo movement and enabling faster trade and supply chain operations. Both sides see scope to further improve aviation and logistics capacity to support growing commercial demand.

The UAE also highlighted its logistics and business framework, including 100% foreign ownership, access to a wide range of economic activities, and full profit repatriation. SMEs remain a key part of the economy, making up the majority of businesses and a large share of private sector jobs.

Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, UAE, said French business presence in the UAE continues to grow, with more than 11,000 French companies now operating in the country. Over 20,000 French trademarks are also registered, showing deeper commercial links and stronger market integration between the two economies.

Both countries indicated that closer coordination in logistics, aviation and SME development could support faster trade movement, stronger investment flows and wider business expansion in the coming years.
